With a noticeable shortage of junior referees throughout not only our club but also the combination, Winscombe RFC are making  proactive efforts to encourage more participation in refereeing from club members and the wider local rugby community.  

We have a larger than average youth section with potential to encourage more people from the age grade set ups and on the periphery to get involved in what seems to be a decline in refereeing across the board. 

With this in mind, we believe that there should be a little incentive for potential participants to come forward and commit to giving up their time for the prosperity of our club rugby.
